How to add users in Meta Business Manager?

Add users to your Meta Business Manager using the following steps.

Users can be added in 2 different ways:

  • By adding individual users (using email id)
  • By adding a different business manager as a partner (using business manager id)

How to add individual users:

Step 1: Visit business.facebook.com/users

Step 2: Click ‘People’ under Users on the left-hand menu

Step 3: Click ‘Add’ (Blue colored button)

Step 4: Enter the email id of the person you want to share access with.

Step 5: Select type of access (Employee/Admin) and then select the appropriate assets and permissions.

Step 6: Click ‘Send Invite’

Voila! The person has received an invitation to join your Business Manager. They can join by verifying their Facebook Profile through profile password.

Important: The invitation email does not land in the Primary inbox of Gmail. It lands in the ‘Social’ tab.

How to add partners:

Step 1: Visit business.facebook.com/users

Step 2: Click ‘Partners’ under Users on the left-hand menu

Step 3: Click ‘Add’ under Partners

Step 4: Enter Business Manager ID of the agency/organization you want o share access with.

Step 5: Select the appropriate assets and permissions.

Step 6: Click ‘Save Changes’

That’s it! You have sent the invitation to your partner agency/organization.

They can accept your invitation and manage your Meta assets.
